With the Wyoming Championship BBQ and Bluegrass Festival canceled this year due to COVID-19, the festival committee looked for guidance on what to do with the community support grant from Rocky Mountain Power. They received permission from RMP to donate the $1,500 to the Washakie Ministerial Association Food Pantry. The check was donated by Bethany Measles, festival treasurer, and Randy Harry, retired RMP employee. They presented the check to Washakie Ministerial Association vice chairman Pastor Louis Pantelis, volunteer David Reust and administrator Ward Byrd on June 24, 2020.
