Eden Rose Lockard was born on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 7:31 am to parents Tyler and Molly (Franzen) Lockard at the Cody Regional Health Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

Eden’s family was blessed with just over 7 hours with her, before she went to her heavenly home at 2:44 p.m. She was able to open her eyes and take in all the love that surrounded her. She was blessed with getting to experience holding hands with her mommy and daddy, hugs and kisses from her family, listening as her parents sang her songs, and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times.

She is survived by her parents; her big sister Lucy Rae; Grandparents, Shawn (Melony) Franzen, Dan (Jeanne) Lockard, great-grandparents; Carol (Wally) Franzen all of Worland, Jennell Hulstrom of Erie, CO; Aunts and Uncles Lacey (Colt) Shaffer, Neil (Shyla) Lockard, Erin (Nick) Donnell, Kelli Emmett all of Worland, and Molly K. Lockard of Aurora, CO, numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Ronnie Hulstrom, grandparents, Angela and Michael Lockard.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made at Sunlight Federal Credit Union to the “Eden Rose” account. This will become the future funding of the Eden Rose Foundation. Their mission will be to purchase and donate unique neo-natal medical equipment for small town hospitals to help future families that face similar situations like the Lockard families.
