Recently, I moved back to Worland after having been in Billings for two years. Before that, I had lived here for as long as I can remember. My time in Billings rendered me with several jobs that I hated and dreaded going to every single day. What can I say? I'm not a people person and customer service makes me want to tear my hair out more than it does to the average person.

Growing up I spent most of my time writing, reading, and drawing. It's what I do to this day. I placed in Young Authors twice growing up, and received awards for reading.

As mentioned, I grew up in Worland, as did my dad. I grew up not being able to wait until I got to leave, but, having moved away and come back, I realize there are places that are a lot worse to be. I've always loved the sense of community this town has, and that there's always someone there to lend a helping hand.

Writing has always been a huge passion of mine, whether it be short stories, essays or anything else. However, it's not very often that, as adults, you grow up and are able to pursue those passions, much less make a living off of it.

I'm incredibly grateful for this position and look forward to being able to provide you all with the news of northern Wyoming.
