Marjorie "Marge" Grace Barnett of Worland, Wyoming passed away in peace on December 5, 2021 in Greeley, Colorado. Marge was born December 30, 1957 to George Henry Orvalla and Grace Bernadine (Felstet) Orvalla in Superior, MT.

Marge's childhood was spent with her many siblings in northern California before she made her way to Wyoming. The entirety of her adult life revolved around agriculture across northern Wyoming, from Gillette to the Big Horn Basin. Marge's keen mind and down-to-earth nature were beloved by farmers and ranchers of all kinds.

Marge was the ultimate entertainer and hostess, always making everyone feel welcome in the presence of her warm smile and colorful sense of humor. Be it a welcoming hug or her witty comments you could count on an unforgettable twinkle in her eye. She was an exceptionally talented cook, able to make the simplest or most elaborate dishes truly magnificent to care for those surrounding her. Her caring nature was also consistently devoted to her animals, garden, and barnyard.

Throughout Marge's life, her path took her a number of places giving her character wonderful complexity much like the fine Zinfandel she so enjoyed. She became well-traveled and made many friends across the west. One of her greatest joys was spending time with friends and family both near and far.

Marge is survived by her husband, Alan Barnett, step-sons, Anthony and Ty (fiancée Debra) Barnett, and her little dog Gin; her siblings Chuck Orvalla, Ginny McGlynn, Linda Tomicich, Emily Orvalla, George A. (Ike) Orvalla, Wanda Orvalla, and Mary Ann (Bob) Gaines; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William "Bill" Orvalla and sister-in-law Betty Lou Orvalla.

No formal services will be held. Instead, Marge wished to be memorialized by friends and family informally gathering together to enjoy each other's company as she so often facilitated.

This bright and shining star who graced all of our lives will be very much missed - but never forgotten. Keep her in your hearts.
