    TEN SLEEP – The board of directors for the Ten Sleep Senior Center hired Randy Firnekas to be the new director for the Ten Sleep Senior Center. Having been the book keeper for the senior center for the last almost nine years, Firnekas is quite accustomed to the staff and the community members who utilize the center. “I’m excited about the position and the new ideas that we will come up with,” Firnekas said.     CHEYENNE (AP) — A Wyoming legislative committee voted Wednesday to reject Gov. Matt Mead’s suggestion that the state expand Medicaid to offer coverage to about 20,000 low-income residents. The Joint Appropriations Committee voted to strip Medicaid expansion out of the state Health Department budget in the recommendations it will send to the full Legislature.
