    THERMOPOLIS - 2017 was a big turnaround season for the Hot Springs County Bobcats football program, after going 1-7 in 2016, the 'Cats went 3-6 and qualified for the 2A State football playoffs.     WORLAND – In August, just a few short months after graduation, Emily Bryant began her career as an optometrist joining Dr. Carl Cottrell at Worland Vision Clinic.     If you’re traveling over Thanksgiving, you’ll have even more company than last year. AAA predicts that 50.9 million Americans will travel over the holiday, a 3.3 percent increase over 2016 and the most since 2005. The auto club credits a growing economy and low unemployment for putting people in the traveling mood.     WORLAND — The Worland High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Chapter ran a successful Socktober Drive during October and November 201. The FCCLA Chapter had a goal to collect at least 150 pairs of socks. They achieved that and then some, collecting 807. The club is again holding another drive for the next two weeks.     WORLAND — The water rate increase proposed by the Worland City Council will go into effect Dec. 1 if passed tonight on third and final reading. The rates will increase by 15 percent, with the council initially discussing increases from 10 percent up to 15 percent. The rate includes an increase on the base rate and the consumption rate.
