COVID UPDATE: Thursday, May 6, Active Washakie County Cases: 8, State Cases: 267

As of Thursday, May 6, the number of laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases seen since the disease was first diagnosed in the state in mid-March stood at 49,396. There was also an additional 9,131 probable cases.

The number of active coronavirus cases in the state was 267.

Washakie County had 5 cases reported since Monday, making the total 713 cases. Active cases in the county are at 8.

As of Wednesday, there are no COVID-19 patients hospitalized at Washakie Medical Center. According to the WDH there are no COVID patients at Powell Valley Healthcare, 2 at Cody Regional, no patients in Hot Springs, none at South Big Horn County Hospital and 2 at North Big Horn Hospital.
