Bonnie and Butch Krause of Burlington are B&B Concessions. Here, they take a moment from serving at a recent auction at the Washakie County Fairgrounds, for a photo. The couple won the honor of Outstanding Concessionaire at the Wyoming State Fair last month in Douglas.

WORLAND - B&B Concessions of Burlington are familiar to those who attend Gary Nash's auctions or who have attended the Big Horn County Fair, or other events they may have catered. While they have been known around the Big Horn Basin, they are now known around the state.

B&B Concessions, which is Butch and Bonnie Krause, have been in business since 1980. About 10 years ago they started going to the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas. This summer they were honored by the Wyoming State Fair "Posse" as the Outstanding Concessionaire.

Bonnie said this year they featured their steak sandwich. Butch said this year they had a new pellet smoker built by their son Jimmy and friend of Jimmy's. Bonnie noted they use fruitwood in the smoker.

The roasts they cooked all night for the barbecue. Smoked brisket, chicken and ribs in the morning and they were ready for the lunch crowd.

Bonnie said, "We were speechless. It was a surprise."
