The Capitol Christmas Tree is coming to Sheridan

 


SHERIDAN – For more than 50 years, a tree has graced the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol building for the holiday season. The 2015 Capitol Christmas Tree is a 74-foot Lutz spruce, harvested from the Chugach National Forest in Alaska.

Sheridan has been selected as one of 13 community stops along the tree’s 5,000-mile route from Seward, Alaska, to Washington, DC.
