Construction work at Washakie Medical Center wasn't slowed by the rain and snow Wednesday in Worland as crews from Barnum Construction continue with site work including installing foundation and footings, backfill preparation for additional concrete work. WMC Plant Operations Manager Mark Schlattmann, overlooking the ambulatory area and at right the surgical wing, said crews are "making good progress" in the project that includes new patient and surgical wing, new helipad and emergency department.
