Here Darth, aka East Side Elementary crossing guard Jesse Charles helps students Jack Bishop, Jackson Dunham, Kade Weber and Delilah Salazar across the street at 15th and Pulliam before classes start. Charles said he has a closet full of costumes that he wears throughout the school the year. He said he likes to wear costumes to make it fun for the children. He has volunteered for more than five years and does it to make sure the children stay safe.
