June 2, 2016

WORLAND - The Wyoming Coaches Association released their All-Conference and All-State teams and the Lady Warriors are represented well on both. Seniors Emily Keller, Haley Schneider and Saydria Russell along with junior Hannah Ozmon and sophomore Casey Wassum were named to the 3A girls All-State teams. The same five along with junior Shania McGarvin were also named to the 3A girls West All-Conference teams.

For Schneider, Keller and Wassum this is their second selection to the All-State team.

Worland's six selections to the All-Conference team were the most among any team, Jackson had five, Cody three and Star Valley and Pinedale two apiece. In the All-State team Worland was tied with Jackson with the most selections at five each, Buffalo had four, Cody and Newcastle three, Star Valley and Torrington two and Pinedale one.

"For Hannah (Ozmon), Haley (Schneider), Saydria (Russell), Shania (McGarvin), Emily (Keller) and Casey (Wassum) to be honored with those accolades shows the excellent season we had. It shows the hard work they've put in and the quality of our soccer program," said coach Danielle Warren.

Coach Warren went on to add, "We've had a terrific season, I wish I could have put a few more up for nomination but we're only allowed so many. Overall though, it's really exciting, they've earned it, and I'm proud of these girls with everything they've done this season."

The All-State and All-Conference teams for the 3A boys have yet to be released.
