Record moisture with winter storm

Worland crews were out at 5 a.m. to begin clearing snow Thursday morning. The National Weather Service said Worland received about five inches.

WORLAND - The snow Worland received before midnight Thursday set a record, dropping .35 inches of moisture on the area, breaking the old record of .15 inches set in 1969.

The moisture that hit the area Wednesday and Thursday was the first for the month. Average precipitation for November is .20 inches. Last year, the Worland area received .38 inches for November, according to the National Weat...
