Flood watch issued for Big Horn Basin, winter storm watch for mountains

WORLAND — The National Weather Service has issue a flood watch for Wednesday evening through late Thursday night for small creeks and streams along the lower elevations of the Powder,

Shoshone and Big Horn basins.

According to the NWS, up to one and a half inches of rain is expected over the lower

elevations in Natrona County, southwest Big Horn Basin, Big Horn Mountains west, northeast Johnson County, southeast Big Horn Basin, southeast Johnson County, Cody foothills and north Big Horn Basin.
