Leadership class beautifies bike path

Washakie Leadership Institute students Nikki Donahue and Rachel Larson work on planting some plants at the entry way for the bike/walking path along airport road in Worland. The beautification project was the culminating class project.

WORLAND - The 2017 Washakie Leadership Institute Class of 2017, the seventh WLI class completed their community service project earlier this week with some beautification of the entrance to the Worland bike/walking path.

WLI Class VII student Rachel Larson said every class must select a project that benefits the community and involves all class members. She said normally the project must be completed by the end of the class, May 9, however due to weather and awaiting for delivery of sustainable plants they had ordered, the class received an extension.
