Area Fourth of July celebrations planned

WORLAND – On July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was adopted and from 1941 when the Fourth of July was made a federal holiday, it’s been a time to celebrate our country’s independence with fireworks, parades, family reunions, rodeos and dances. This year will be no different with celebrations starting as early as today.

The festivities begin this evening at 6:30 p.m. with the 19th annual Climbers Fest at the Ten Sleep Brewery. The Climbers Fest is one of the Bighorn Climbers’ Coalition fundraisers and community/enrichment events. The event is free of charge with live music...
