Wildfires advance to state title game, fall short

WORLAND - The 14U Worland Wildfires fell just short of winning a state championship at the Wyoming Girls State Fastpitch Tournament on July 7-9 in Rock Springs.

The Wildfires fell to Laramie 8-3 in the championship game and while they did not bring the top hardware home, as a team, and program, the Wildfires made tremendous progress this season.
