WORLAND - Worland youth karate standout, Ethan Damiano, dominated the competition at the Montana Big Sky State Games karate tournament on July 15 in Billings.

Damiano, an Alo Kenpo/Jujitsu student, went against the best from Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming in the 11- to 13-year-old division.

Competing in breaking, forms and weapons, Damiano took gold in all three categories, which then earned Damiano being named the 13-and-under grand champion

Winning grand champion and sweeping all three categories is an improvement from Damiano's performance last year when he took gold in kata then silver in breaking, sparring and weapons.
