BLM Worland warns of restrictions on gas plant road for public safety

WORLAND - The Bureau of Land Management advises that beginning Sept. 11, travel near the Washakie Midstream Gas Plant, approximately 4 miles east of Worland, will be temporarily restricted for public safety due to the potential for high levels of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gas.

The gas plant road north of U.S. Highway 16 will be restricted to authorized personnel during workover operations for an injection well.
