Plenty of rain, but no records for Worland

WORLAND — While Washakie County and Wyoming got plenty of rain late last week, no records were set in Worland.

WORLAND — While Washakie County and Wyoming got plenty of rain late last week, no records were set in Worland.

According to the National Weather Service, Worland received .33 inches of precipitation on Friday, below the record of .73 inches set in 2005. On Saturday, Worland came close the record with .41 inches of rain. The record is .43 inches set in 1961. On Sunday, as the storm moved out of the area, Worland received .08 inches of precipitation with the record of .14 set in 1990.

For the month of May, Worland has received .82 inches of precipitation with .57 inches the average for this...
