Grow Worland meeting Monday City invites adjacent residents to consider annexation

WORLAND — City of Worland officials are inviting adjacent residents to come to a meeting and listen to how those residents can help “Grow Worland.”

Mayor Jim Gill said, “We have this Grow Worland initiative. It’s an important aspect for the community. We are concerned about maintaining our status as a city.” He said Worland is ranked 17th out of 17 cities in Wyoming based on population.

He said city officials have been taking a look at areas that have grown around the city that aren’t currently in the city limits.
