Second annual virtual career fair Tuesday

WORLAND – University of Wyoming Extension and Wyoming 4-H is hosting their second annual virtual career fair at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22.
“Exploring your future and growing a career: Virtual career night” will begin with a welcome and introduction, followed by a brief presentation by Tris Munsick, a country music artist from Sheridan.
Following Munsick’s presentation, participants will learn about career opportunities in six different career tracks. These tracks are agriculture and natural resources, business, health and education, expressive arts, trades and wild and crazy. Each track will feature industry professionals who will provide insights into their careers.
Representatives from UW, the state’s community colleges and WyoTech will be available to talk about opportunities available at their schools and answer questions.
“This event is a unique way to connect with people in different professions and learn about a variety of careers that are available,” says Amber Armajo, UW Extension 4-H/youth educator in Washakie County. “Not only can participants learn about career options, but they also can ask questions of professionals and college recruiters.”
The career fair initially began in person during WESTI Ag Days in Worland. It moved virtual last year due to COVID protocols.
