Easter is this Sunday and all the usual Easter egg hunting grounds in Washakie County will be welcoming guests once again.

The Worland Aquatic Center, having missed last year, will once again welcome guests for an egg hunt on Saturday, March 30. Easter eggs will be thrown throughout the pool, and kids will have to dive and splash around to get to them. Specially marked eggs can be found to earn prizes. Two sessions will be held, one from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and one from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Ages 3 to 7 will be in the shallow pool, and ages 7 to 11 will be in the lap pool. Tickets to participate are available to purchase at a reduced price ahead of time, and will be full price at the door.

Worland’s American Legion Post 44 invites the public to join them on Easter at Newell Sargent Park for an Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 1 p.m. There will be three separate fields, with age groups of 4 and younger, 5 to 7 and 8 to 10. The horn will sound, and kids will scramble after hundreds of pieces of candy.

In Ten Sleep on the same day, the Ten Sleep-Hyattville Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt will be at the school football field at 1 p.m. In addition to candy, some eggs will have a ticket for a prize. Ages 3 and under can win a stuffed toy, and those up to 12 years old are eligible to win one of

three bicycles.
