George Haack, 107, of Mesa, AZ passed away on January 9, 2016.

George was born in rural Iowa and soon the family moved to the Saskatchewan prairie south of Regina, Canada. George attended rural schools and completed secondary education with Honors at Scott Collegiate in Regina. His married life was spent mainly in northern Wyoming. Ranching was followed by employment and retirement (after 17 years) with Montana-Dakota Utilities facility in Worland. George and Myra were married 71 years.

George and his late wife, Myra, spent many seasons in Mesa as winter residents away from their Worland, Wyoming home. George enjoyed gardening, billiards, walking, reading the oil industry news and exploration, and activities at his assisted-living residence.

George is preceded in death by his wife, Myra and daughter, Linda Norman. He is survived by his son, Ray and many nieces and nephews in Canada.

George will be laid to rest with his wife at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Worland. Arrangement entrusted to Melcher Mission Chapel, Mesa, Arizona.
