Vance William Roady, age 41, Gillette, Wyoming resident died unexpectedly May 29th at his Nana's home in Worland.

Vance was born on May 27, 1975 in Colusa, CA to Marla Tolman and Bill Roady. He was raised in Worland, working on the Tolman Ranch until his graduation from Worland High School in 1994. During high school he participated in football and wrestling. After high school he attended the University of Wyoming for diesel mechanics and later welding classes at Gillette College. He was a very talented mechanic and welder.

During his lifetime he was employed by McGarvin & Moberly, Tritan Coal Company, Tristate Recycling, McKim's Repair, Grosch Construction, and Titan Machinery.

He married Amber Prell in 1998. Their children, Jade and Gavin, meant the world to him.

He married the love of his life, Cindy French, December 2005.

He was blessed with a daughter, Addisyn, April 2011 with Bobbi Schmidt.

Vance was a die-hard Detroit Lions fan and also enjoyed camping, fishing, and skiing. One time while snowboarding, a kid told him he was pretty good for an "old man". He was an amazing cook and could create a meal out of anything.

His greatest joy was his children – he loved them more than they will ever know and was very proud of them.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Justin Roady, maternal grandfather, Marvin Tolman and his paternal grandparents Howard and Ozelle Roady.

Vance is survived by his wife, Cindy French, Gillette; his children, Jade and Gavin Roady, Newcastle, and Addisyn Roady, Worland; his step-children Josh and Aaron Mitchell, Gillette; his mother, Marla Tolman (Dub Maxwell), Worland; his father, Bill (Val) Roady, Basin; sister, Julie Dengel (Lonnie Cox), Lewistown, MT; his brother Cameron (Jill) Roady , Worland; his Nana, Lonna Tolman (Don Hampton); Aunt Kim Tolman, Aunt Jaki Roady; Uncle Kirk Tolman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 11th at 2pm at the Elks Lodge, Worland, WY. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the "Vance Roady Memorial" college fund for his children in care of Bryant Funeral Home PO Box 524 or Cindy French PO Box 4316 Gillette WY 82717.
