Washakie County graduations Sunday

WORLAND – The end of the school year is upon us, and that means graduation ceremonies. Sunday, Worland and Ten Sleep high schools will be having their graduation ceremonies.

The Worland High School ceremony will be 2 p.m. on Sunday at Warrior Stadium, weather permitting.

Noni Weber is scheduled to be the keynote speaker, being voted on by the senior class. Weber states that she “...is humbled and honored to be the WHS 2018 keynote speaker. Having only spent one year teaching at the high school, their request came as a surprise. I was their English III or junior English teacher for the 2016-17 school year,” Weber said. “They are a wonderful group who complement each other quite well, and I hope what I have to say does them justice.”

There will be 75 graduates.

The class valedictorians are Katelin Scheuerman, Madison DuPree, Paris Caines and Taylor Noland. Class salutatorian is Aloisius Grzybowski.

TEN SLEEP

The commencement address will presented by language arts teacher Justin Waterworth.
