Dolores "Kathy" Ketcham, 88, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at South Big Horn County Hospital after a short illness. She had previously resided at the Wyoming Pioneer Home in Thermopolis, then the Wyoming Retirement Center in Basin.

Born February 11, 1931 in Sheridan, Wyoming, she was the daughter of Fred and Neta (Tulp) Sperl. After graduation from Ranchester High School she married Darrell Ketcham July 23, 1949 in Hardin, Montana. Living in San Diego, CA while her husband was stationed in the Navy, the couple returned to Wyoming living in several communities while her husband was with the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Kathleen was employed as a private secretary with the Washakie County Sheriff's Department and First Deputy in the County Clerk's office in Worland for many years. Moving to Casper she worked in the Natrona County Clerk's office and as Manager of the City/ County Federal Credit Union. While living in Sheridan she ran as a candidate for the Sheridan County Clerk.

A life member of the Wyoming Peace Officers Association, she enjoyed spending winters in Yuma, AZ, traveling, camping, fishing and loved the great outdoors.

Those cherishing her memory include her son, Dan (Ellen) Ketcham of Bountiful, UT and daughter, Linda (Joe) Doak of Thermopolis; sister, LaVonne Drell of Sheridan; grandchildren, Sean Doak of Belgrade, MT, Valerie Doak (John Reilke) of Casper and Brandi (Paul) Robinson of Cheyenne; and three great grandchildren, Kyra Doak and Tasarra and Eden Robinson. She was preceded in death by her father (before she was born), Fred; mother and stepfather, Neta and Leonard Burgess; husband, Darrell (1994); and companion, Jim Hudson.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Sheridan, Wyoming.
