Christine Nicole Stagner passed away at the age of 44, on June 24th, 2019 at Northwest Hospital in Seattle, WA. Nicole is preceded in death by her parents Gayle and Donald Stagner. She is survived by her two children, Maya Quinanola, age 17 and Peyton Quinanola, age 10. Nicole will be missed by her siblings Brenda and Duane Winkler, Donald and Jenny Stagner, Kelly Stagner, Tinisha Lain, and many nieces and nephews.

Nicole was naturally adventurous and selfless. She loved the outdoors, especially water, which lead her to work for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. She traveled the world and worked in places like Africa and Papua New Guinea. She experienced various cultures and always found the beauty and goodness in all things. Nicole would consider her children her greatest adventure and accomplishment. After the birth of her daughter, Nicole switched careers to focus on family. Following her calling, she became a registered nurse. During her nursing career she was recognized for many accomplishments and her work as an oncology and hospice nurse.

Strength and courage were Nicole’s defining characteristics. It takes courage to travel the world, strength to change careers and both remained guideposts through the ups and downs of life. A private ceremony will be held by Nicole’s family celebrating her life.
