Charles "Bill" Christy

Charles “Bill” Christy passed away September 17, 2019 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Facility in Casper, Wyoming.

Bill was born in 1941 at Newcastle, Wyoming. He attended schools at Beulah, Worland, Meeteetse, and graduated at Riverton High School. He entered the military in 1966 and went to Vietnam; he was honorably discharged 7 years later after numerous medals to his name; an astute sharpshooter.

Along with brothers Bob and Pete, Bill worked around the Denver area operating a carpet cleaning business. They did this for many years. He then moved to Worland with daughter, Tina, and went to work at McGarvin-Moberly Const. with brother David.

Bill never married but did have a daughter who became a large part of his life. Bill was loved by many and liked by all. His sense of humor always apparent!

Preceded in death are his parents, two sisters, and three brothers. He is survived by daughter Tina Peterson (Jason), granddaughter Anika, grandson Levi; one sister, Mable Weber (Christy) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside Memorial Services are planned with military honors Saturday, October 19th at 11 a.m. at Worland’s Riverview Memorial Gardens cemetery.
