Edith Lorraine Dellos

Edith Lorraine Dellos, age 86, passed away at her home on Saturday, April 4, 2020 and went home to Heaven with her Lord.

Edith was born in Manderson, WY on August 8, 1933 to Otto P. and Mary (Youngman) Voss; youngest of six children. She lived most of her young life in Manderson, graduating from MHS in 1951. Following graduation, she moved to Worland where she worked for a short time as a bookkeeper for a car dealership.

Edith married the love of her life, Herman Fred Dellos, December 21, 1952 in Worland. This began her life as a farm wife, a calling she enjoyed for forty-seven years, until Herman passed in August 1999. Edith was passionate about her farm life and being a wife and a mother to her children. Edith was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and was a talented artist who loved to paint and sketch. Other hobbies included sewing, crocheting and knitting. She was an excellent cook and had a natural knack as a baker; she was well known for baking the best pie for Farm Sales! She belonged to Zion Lutheran Church, Today's Homemakers and later enjoyed playing cards in the card club.

Edith is survived by her children Susan (Lonny) Rawlings of Torrington, WY, Christie (Jack) Jacobsen and Brian (Nancy) Dellos of Worland, WY. She was a proud grandparent to nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Survivors also include Josephine Prill (sister) Vesta Voss (sister-in-law), Marjorie Dellos Eckhardt (sister-in-law) and Lawrence Milton Woods (first cousin). She was preceded in death by her parents, two stepfathers and siblings, Helen (Voss) Davis, Paul "Bud" Voss, Elsie (Voss) Bender, Roy Allen Voss.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial/celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Worland Senior Center or New Hope Humane Society and sent to PO Box 524, Worland, WY 82401. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
