Douglas Lee Forsythe

November 11, 2021

Douglas Lee Forsythe, 61, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 6, 2021. He was born to LeRoy Eugene and Margaret Louise (Bolton) Forsythe on February 2, 1960 in his family home near Geneva, Wisconsin.

Doug grew up on a dairy farm where he enjoyed driving tractors and helping wherever he was needed. He went to school at Madison High in Wisconsin.

After high school, Doug pursued a career in auto body painting until he found his true passion in the trucking industry. He worked for Swing Trucking and McGarvin-Moberly for many years. He had a love for long haul trucking and the peaceful atmosphere of being on the road. Most of all, Doug loved his family. He was a loving husband, father, and amazing grandfather. He loved every one of them with his whole heart and soul.

In his free time, Doug enjoyed painting, especially auto body painting. He liked working with leather, coloring books and shooting guns. Doug was always up for an adventure, especially when it meant he got to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Doug is survived by his parents, LeRoy and Margaret Forsythe; significant other, Tammy Kay Forsythe of Worland; brother, Mike Forsythe of Elkhorn, WI; children, Chance Haux of Sheridan, WY and Justy Haux of Worland and grandchildren: Michael, Anthony, Leah and Justy. Cremation has taken place and no formal services are planned at this time. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
