Shelly Danean Nitchman

Shelly Danean Nitchman passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 53, at the Washakie Medical Center in Worland with her husband by her side.

Shelly was born May 26, 1968 in Vancouver, Washington to George John and Ethel Darlene (Dedmore) Nitchman. She grew up in Billings, Montana then moved to Camas, Washington where she graduated high school in 1986. After graduation, the family moved to Worland, Wyoming.

Worland is where she met the love of her life, Myron, and they had two children, Kaci and Jayson. Shelly worked at the Washakie County Library for 21 years before retiring in 2019. She loved reading, doing puzzles and spending time with her husband and children. She loved her family above all else. She was a loving wife, mother, and family member. Even though she had medical issues, she never showed her pain and always had an optimistic and upbeat attitude. She was always advocating for willing and able people to be a living donor, to help people like her with a chronic illness to prolong their time with their loved ones.

Shelly was preceded in death by her father, George Nitchman of Worland. Shelly is survived by the love of her life, Myron Weinschrott, of 34 years. She is also survived by her mother, Ethel Nitchman of Worland; brother, Dan Nitchman; sister, Carrie Romo (Ramiro) of Worland; her two children, Kaci Weinschrott of Casper and Jayson Weinschrott of Worland, as well as multiple nieces, nephews and extended family.

Shelly is loved and will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held in the Summer of 2022. Online condolences may be made at http://www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
