UPDATE 2:30 p.m. - Lady Warriors defeat Powell 39-28 to advance to state-qualifying game at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. They will play the Loser of the Lander-Pinedale game.

The Worland Lady Warriors fell to Mountain View 47-23 Thursday night in Powell in the quarterfinals of the 3A West Girls Regional Basketball Tournament.

With the loss the team plays Powell in a loser-out contest at noon today. Powell fell to Lyman 42-21 yesterday.

In the boys bracket, the Warriors defeated Pinedale 72-49 in Thursday's quarter-final game. They take on Powell at 8:30 p.m. Powell defeated Mountain View 45-43 in their quarter-final game.
