Meela Marie Ray was born in September 3, 1948 in Worland, Wyoming to Alfred and Marie Fink.

She graduated from Worland High School and completed her Bachelors in Education in Bozeman, Montana. She spent her life working in customer service.

Meela passed away with family by her side on February 2, 2023.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Greybull, Wyoming. Jim and Meela shared a passion for geology and spending time exploring the countryside.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Marie Fink and her first husband Charles Tharp.

Meela is survived by her husband Jim Ray; her three children, Loralei (Troy) Jeffers, Josh Tharp and Jessica Ray and 7 grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and services will be planned for the spring.
