Longtime Worland resident, Lillian L. Neumann, passed away on May 19, 2023, at the Hildebrand Care Center in Canon City, CO. She was born December 3, 1926, in Powell, WY to Alex Steber and Katherine (Lass) Steber.

She graduated from Worland High School in 1944. She worked as a legal secretary for 35 years for local attorneys.

She married Alfred Hefenieder in 1945 and they were blessed with two sons Alan and Raymond. Alfred passed away in 1966 and Raymond passed away in 1971.

In 1969 she married Donald Neumann. He died in 1991.

In 2015 she relocated to Canon City, CO to be close to her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents and all 3 of her siblings: Roy Steber, Katherine Smith, and Ted Steber.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Alan and Robyn Hefenieder of Canon City, CO; one stepson Mitch Neumann of Idaho; two Granddaughters Michelle Hefenieder of Brush, CO and Raymie (Shane) Bingman of Cheyenne, WY and one great Grandson Chase Bingman of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.

At her request she has been cremated and per her wishes there will be no services.
