Members of Kurt's KARATE work through their form during a demonstration at the Ten Sleep Fourth of July parade on July 4.

Kurt's Karate won Judge's Choice at the Ten Sleep Fourth of July Parade.

There were 27 entries this year that paraded down US 16 through Ten Sleep to a good-sized Independence Day crowd that did not mind the rainy weather.

Organizer Becky Cooper said it appeared to be a record crowd attending the parade.

Other results from the parade are as follows:

Theme: Washakie County Republican Women (the theme was "Yankee Doodle Dandy")

Church Group: Ten Sleep United Methodist Church

Civic Group: Washakie County Cowbelles
