Marlene Ann Moore, a beloved and cherished member of the Worland, Wyoming community, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 85, at Washakie Medical Center. Marlene was born in Dickinson, North Dakota, on December 10, 1937. She was the daughter of Frank and Veronica (Gotterbarm) Martin.

On June 21, 1960, Marlene married the love of her life, Jesse James Moore, in her hometown of Dickinson. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Marlene and Jesse were blessed with three wonderful children, James, Jeralyn, and Jay, who were the center of their world.

Marlene had a zest for life and a passion for staying active. She found joy in the simple things, like skiing, working out at the health club, and completing challenging puzzles. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and love, where she would whip up delicious baked goods that brought smiles to the faces of her family and friends.

Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marlene was an avid supporter of her grandchildren's endeavors, particularly their sports activities. She relished in watching them play, and they cherished the times they spent together. Marlene's door was always open to her grandkids when they came from school for lunch, creating cherished memories that they will carry with them throughout their lives.

Marlene was not only a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother but also an active member of her community. She was a proud member of the B.P.O. Does No 93 and always had a warm and welcoming presence in social gatherings. Her vibrant personality made her a central figure in the lives of many in the neighborhood, and she had an uncanny ability to know what everyone was up to, often before they did.

Marlene's faith was a guiding force in her life. She was a devout Catholic and found solace and strength in her relationship with God. Her unwavering devotion to her faith was an inspiration to those around her, and her presence in her church community was deeply appreciated.

During her children's formative years, Marlene dedicated her time and energy to helping others. She worked as a teacher's aide at North Side, leaving a lasting impact on the students she interacted with. Later in her career, she put her nursing degree to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the nursing home, where she cared for the elderly with compassion and grace. Even after retiring, Marlene continued to give back to her community by volunteering at public health.

Marlene's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support will be remembered by her family and friends for years to come. Her legacy of love and devotion to family, faith, and community serves as an enduring reminder of a life well-lived.
